The Story Behind the Magic

Fabian Christopher’s fascination with magic began at a very young age. Simple magic tricks hidden inside cereal boxes sparked a curiosity that quickly became an obsession. While other children saw tricks, Fabian saw wonder, mystery, and possibility.

After years of dedicated practice and performing opening acts at clubs and special events, Fabian introduced his first major illusion in 1990—mesmerizing over 2,000 spectators with his astonishing Floating & Vanishing Cigarette Act.

In 1992, he amazed audiences once again with his recreation of the legendary Harry Houdini’s Metamorphosis (Trunk Escape)—performed in a record-breaking 2.3 seconds.

In 1993, Fabian elevated his career further with a phenomenal performance at the Sammy Davis Jr. Telethon, where he caused his assistant and wife, Judy, to mysteriously float in mid-air before vanishing without warning. Acclaimed actor Michael Jackson famously remarked, “Now that’s magic.”

Fabian and Judy later won the Grand Prize in a prestigious competition among over 75 magicians, earning the honor of representing the United States in an exclusive one-year contract in Taipei, Taiwan. Their international fame grew after being featured on TT Cable News in Taipei, where their show was proclaimed “Must See Show of the Year.”

Today, Fabian Christopher continues to inspire, astonish, and redefine modern illusion.
